Luisa was born and grew up near the beautiful lake Como, in Northern Italy. She is currently residing in Boston, where she teaches Italian to the many students of the Greater Boston Area.
Before moving to Massachusetts, Luisa served as language and culture teacher at the Italian Club of Dallas. She completed all of her formal education in Italy (Milan) and graduated in Political Science from the University of Milan.
Beyond Italian, Luisa is also proficient in English, French and German.
Prior to relocating to Dallas, Luisa was quite active in promoting the Italian language and culture by volunteering as a reporter and editor for a private TV in Ottawa (Canada) broadcasting in Italian.
Having worked for the Swiss Consulate in Milan and the Italian Patronato in Ottawa for assistance of Italian workers abroad, Luisa holds an extensive and complete background in international relationships and assistance of Italian citizens abroad.
Roberto was born, raised and completed all of his studies in Milan, Italy, where he graduated in Business & Administration.
The early working experience was as a programmer and analyst of computer and organization for a Merchant Bank in Milan, then switched to the office for the analysis and concession of the loans to the business where he reached an high professional level. Retiring at early age thanks to the Italian legislation he moved to Dallas and started a totally new life in his early fifties.
In Texas he became soon a writer and a columnist for the Italian community abroad writing for the Italian newspaper "Orizzonti Nuovi" and the international bulletin "News Italia Press". Passionate about Italian politics, in 2002 he became responsible for an Italian Party of the Italians in US, duty abandoned in 2006.
At the Italian Club of Dallas he achieved soon the life membership and became member of the ICD Board in October 2005, assumed also the direction of the Italian Language School of the Club where in two years tripled the number of students.
In December 2006 published in Italy the essay: "Scoprire un'altra America" (Discover another America) written in Italian and, in June 2007, with Luisa Castelli, published in U.S. the guide-book "Buongiorno Italy".
